chawan is part of the Skylark family restaurant group and offers a great selection of Japanese food, drinks and desserts. You can actually decide which items you'd like for your main dish and your side dishes. They offer seasonal Japanese specialties, a choice of rice and meals that allow you to try a little bit of everything if you're like me and want to eat everything! They list ingredients for people with allergies or food restrictions/preferences and there are plenty of healthy options. I was even pleasantly surprised to learn that people 60 or over (me!) can apply for a "Platinum Passport" which will give you 5% off of your meal! Not bad! They have stores throughout Japan.
